Love is listening with your heart. Love means showing my heart to other people. Love is taking care of the world for the people living in it. You should be glad that we have love in the world. Love Equals is a writing competition for children from 6 to 11 years old. To enter, children write a letter, essay, story or poem explaining what love means to them. A Celebrity Judging Panel determines the winning entrants and prizes (including cash prizes) are given in an atmosphere of celebration and goodwill at a star-studded Valentine's Day Awards Ceremony. The Screen Actors Guild Foundation is widely praised for its work in countering the shocking rate of youth illiteracy in America, having created and continuing to expand upon several highly effective programs, including the We the Children family-heritage book writing project, BookPALS, Storyline Online featuring SAG celebrities reading to children, and now Love Equals. For more information, read our Frequently Asked Questions page, or contact the LOVE EQUALS Project Director at info@loveequalscontest.com. |
